Close enough to keep the after-school window
The clinic is on 18th Street, on the west side of Greeley. Families from Promontory, Centerplace, and the neighborhoods toward Evans are a short drive. UNC is across town, not across the county. You should not have to give up a whole afternoon to get to speech.

Sessions are built around one skill at a time, with practice you can actually do at the kitchen table. You see what changed, visit by visit, instead of waiting for a report card to tell you.
What we actually work on
The visit starts with the thing that is getting in the way, not a menu. These are the areas families come in for. If yours is not on the list, say so anyway. We would rather tell you we are not the right clinic than stretch a service to fit.
Our most sought-after service is motor speech disorder therapy, including childhood apraxia of speech. That work is specific. It uses approaches such as DTTC, PROMPT, and ReST, and it is not the same as practicing a sound list. If apraxia is the question, we evaluate for it instead of guessing from a video.
Children with hearing aids, cochlear implants, or bone-anchored devices can be seen here for listening and spoken-language therapy matched to the device they actually wear. If the first question is whether hearing has been checked at all, we will say that before we start a language plan. Reading and literacy therapy is here in the clinic and, for families outside the drive, by secure video.
If District 6 is already involved
A lot of our Greeley kids already have speech at school. That service is real, and it is built for the classroom. It is often not enough time, and it is not always aimed at the thing you are worried about at home.
Bring the IEP, the 504, or the note from the teacher. We read it. With your consent we line our goals up with the school speech therapist so Monday at school and Tuesday at the clinic are the same plan. If the school has not evaluated yet, you do not have to wait for that meeting to start here. Private therapy and the school process can run at the same time.
Insurance, before you rearrange a Thursday

Yes, and most families do both. School therapy protects access to the classroom. Clinic therapy can go after the speech, language, or reading skill that is actually stuck, on a schedule that is not limited to the school caseload. With your consent we share goals with the school speech therapist so the two plans are not competing.
