Speech Therapy in Fort Collins: What to Know Before You Drive to Greeley

Searching speech therapy in Fort Collins? We do not have a Fort Collins office. Here is when the Greeley specialty clinic is worth the drive for Poudre families.

Direct answer: Front Range Speech Therapy is not a Fort Collins clinic. We are based in Greeley. Fort Collins and Poudre School District families still come when they need specialty pediatric speech-language pathology that a closer generalist office could not provide — especially childhood apraxia, hearing technology, AAC, and persistent fluency or language needs through age 21.

Do not wait on a Fort Collins location that is not opening

If another site told you our Fort Collins details were “coming soon,” that was outdated. The in-person clinic is at 4645 18th St, Ste #200, Greeley. Use our Fort Collins speech therapy page for the current commute picture, not an old snippet.

When the drive is worth it

A longer commute is a poor plan for a mild, quickly resolving lisp if a qualified SLP is five minutes away. It is a better plan when your child needs PROMPT-informed motor speech work, cochlear implant / auditory-verbal related therapy, device-based AAC, or a literacy SLP rather than a tutor. Ask any Fort Collins provider the same specialty questions you would ask us. Choose the clinician, then choose the parking lot.

Poudre School District and private therapy

Poudre IEP speech minutes help a student access school. They rarely equal a full motor-speech or AAC program. Families often keep school services and add private care. We will coordinate when you want us to. We are not a Poudre contractor.

Do you offer telehealth instead of the Greeley drive?

Reading and literacy intervention can be nationwide telehealth. Most speech, fluency, AAC, and hearing-related treatment is in person in Greeley. We will not stretch telehealth past what works for the diagnosis.

Is there a waitlist for Fort Collins families?

Capacity changes. Apply or call (720) 798-6930. We will not keep you on an autism diagnostic waitlist — we no longer have psychologists on staff. We still treat communication, screen ADHD and dyslexia profiles, and refer for autism testing.
